Good service. The little rooms set off by paper walls are intimate. Pretty expensive for what you get. I ordered a sushi boat for two (more than $60) and while it was good, it wasn't nearly as big as I expected it to be. Still, the sushi was fresh and tasty.
I had to pass because a scheduled luncheon cannot wait till 1:30 to eat. I am very disappointed and I suggest to not get catering from this place and plus, it's too expensive. However I did give 2 stars merely because their sushi is better than average.
I placed a catering order for a corporate luncheon. I called 2 days prior to make sure we were all set and they said yes and mentioned 12pm drop off. Day of luncheon - 12pm rolls around and then 12:20 rolls around. Sushi places tend to run a bit late, but this was a bit much. I called and asked about our order and I hear the manager whisper "sh**". He puts me on hold and then comes back on the phone and says he apologizes because they FORGOT our order. The best he can offer me is be there in maybe an hour and give 20% off. Originally I asked for 11:30am drop off and he said 12 pm was the best they could do, and now it's 12:30.
Fun decor and organization of dining enclaves in a Japanes (fusion?) Restaurant. The food was good and some dishes were traditional while others were not. We ran up a bill pretty easily. There were many families there and there is a kids menu. Located on Beacon St. very close to the Coolidge corner stop (green C).
Average quality of food and sushi. Not impressed. I would not go there again for the price. Convenient location but would go somewhere else. We were not served all the items ordered but they billed for all. I only figured out on my way home.
