The man answering the phone is unbelievably rude and lies about visa policy. There are a number of countries whose citizens do not need visa for trip to Chile but if you call and ask here, the man will just yell at you and tell the exact opposite from the official regulation! Just to earn 20 bucks from each person? Ruined the image for this country.

The man there was very rude and did not listen to what I was talking. The phone number is almost always busy and I have no idea of why.

Are there any international lawyers for Chile in the area? I have a house in Providencia, of my mother's that was stolen by the family of my father with a falsified RUT # The house is selling for $850,000 through Gianelli Propiedades.

You can get your tourist visas (if you are not a US citizen you will need one) there. The two gentlemen provided very quick and professional service. We got our visa with in a week!

I live nearby this place, and I literally just walked by the other day and saw one of the men who works there just lay into some poor man waiting at the door: "What do you think you're doing?!" From the tone of his yelling I expected to see someone actively vandalizing the property, but it was just a guy waiting at the door trying to see someone at the consulate about papers. He was understandably confused about why he was being yelled at and quietly and politely said he was there to get papers signed, but the man kept yelling at him saying "Well have you ever heard of a cell phone?!" I felt so bad but didn't know what to do without escalating the situation further. I've never seen anything like it. The guy wasn't doing anything but standing at he door and this man just started screaming at him for no reason.
